Rock material stockpiled near the job, then reloaded and taken and used on the job that is a square item, will this material need to be reweighed or will the quarry ticket work.
If the rock material is stockpiled in a secure location, it will not need to be reweighed to use on the jobsite. The quarry ticket will work. At the end of the job, however, any unused material will need to be weighed in order to calculate the final yield. (02/23/2018)

The pay item for pavement marking removal calls for the work to be done using the water blasting method. The removal on similar projects in the past have always allowed for removal by grinding. Since all of the areas will be micro surfaced or have a cape seal over them any minor blemishes will be covered by these processes. In addition, grinding will minimize damage to bad seams, etc. in the existing roadway caused by high pressure water. Please advise if removal by grinding will be allowed.
Water blasting will be used on this contract. Please bid as designed. (02/20/2018)
