Contract Specifics
A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Project Site at Kickapoo Park Road, east of the entrance to Kickapoo State Recreation Area, approximately two miles northeast of Oakwood, IL. Location Notes - Section 5 of Township 19 North – Range 12 West, in Vermilion County. Click here for map
Project Labor Agreement
Previously advertised on July 31, 2020 (Item 1LR).
The Contract shall end on or before 06/30/2022 with an interim progress date (when all earthwork, erosion control, permanent and temporary seeding, and mulching must be completed by) of 12/01/2021.

  • Can you provide a copy of the sign up sheet and any notes of the pre-bid meeting
    The requested documents have been placed in the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION folder with the Plans and Special Provisions for this contract. (02/25/2021)

  • Are contractors required to have MSHA Certification in order to be onsite?
    Contractors are not required to have MSHA Certification for this project. (02/25/2021)

  • What is the plan with Pay Item NRM67110 Adjusting Fiber Optic Lines? At the pre-bid, there was talk of deleting this pay item. Is this going to be deleted or do we still need to try and put a number on this?
    This pay item will be deleted in an addendum that is forthcoming. The license agreement with McLeod USA Telecommunications Services Inc. requires them to remove, relocate, or modify the fiber-optic cable and associated connection pedestals at their expense as deemed necessary in the sole reasonable judgment of IDNR.   • Where is the Class D patching located?
    The Class D Patches are intended to address anticipated damage to park roads from construction vehicles associated with this project. Actual locations for repair will be determined after the majority of equipment and material transportation has been completed. (02/25/2021)
