This project includes Class D patching but there is not a patching schedule included in the plans. Is there a patching schedule available? Is there a mix table available to specify the HMA material? The only Traffic Control pay item is for Standard 701306. Is this the standard meant to cover the patching operations?

An addendum is forthcoming on this issue. A mix design table will be added to the plans. There is no patching schedule available. Due to the small patching quantity, it is intended for the Contractor to use Standard 701306 for Traffic Control and Protection. It is anticipated that patching will only require 1 or 2 days to complete. (01/06/2020)
The drawings call for pavement marking to be removed using the water blasting method. Based on the age of the pavement and the proximity of the edge line to the edge of the pavement water blasting may cause damage to the pavement. Pavement marking removal by grinding will achieve safer results at a cheaper cost. Please review and advise if the pay item can be changed from water blasting to grinding.

An addendum is forthcoming on this issue. The pay item will be changed to Pavement Marking Removal - Grinding. (01/06/2020)
