  • What security provisions will be required for this project? Will background checks, etc. be required for all employees working on this project? Will a gate guard be required while we are working / accessing site?
    The contractor will be required to maintain airport security as specified in the contract documents and as directed by the Airport. There is no requirement for background checks or for a gate guard. An addendum will be issued to clarify. (01/19/2022)

  • Plan sheet 4 – Note on map refers to “Temporary Access Route – for Aircraft - location to be coordinated with Ingersoll Airport.” Map shows access road connecting parking apron to Taxiway B during Phase 2 construction. Is there work required by contractor for this temporary access road? If so, please add special provision and pay item as necessary.
    There will be no work required by the contractor for the Temporary Access Route - For Aircraft. An addendum will be issued to clarify. (01/19/2022)

  • Plan sheet 5 – General Note 2 refers to work related to “selected cracks in the pavement that are filled shall also have reflective crack control treatment applied over these cracks” The special provisions clearly state Item AR401661 Bit. Crack Sealing, however, there is no special provision or pay item for “crack control treatment”. Are you wanting “peel & stick” crack control fabric for this application? If so, please add special provision and pay item as necessary.
    This work is not required for this contract. An Addendum will be issued. (01/19/2022)

  • Plans sheet 5 – General Note 4 & 5 refer to work related to edge lighting along taxiway’s. “This work shall be performed and paid for in accordance with the special provisions for Item 125 – Adjust Stake and Base Mounted Lights.” Is this work necessary for the scope of this project? If so, there is no special provision, or pay item in the plans.
    This work is not required for this contract. An Addendum will be issued. (01/19/2022)
