  • If one company is awarded 2 contracts, will the radio requirement be 30 or 15?
    If a company is awarded 2 contracts, requirement will stay at 15 for both. (10/14/2020)

  • Is the following assumption correct? There are 4 team sections in this contract, each work order will be issued on the 1st of the month from March through June 1st.
    Term of contract from March 1 does not correlate with submittal of first work order. Work orders may be given at any time from March 1 to November 1 as stated in the special provision "Cleaning Cycle Work Order". (10/14/2020)

  • Given that weather is a big unknown in March and to a lesser degree in April, will weather canceled days be added to the 30 day completion deadline?
    If Contractor is unable to perform his duties due to unforeseen weather conditions, Contractor shall submit the request for additional days for approval by the Engineer. (10/14/2020)

  • As it relates to work orders, will a work order be issued for the entire contract or for each team section? Is there a possibility that a work order will have the same date for all team sections, thus having to finish all team sections within the 30 calendar days of issuance?
    Work orders will not be issued per team section but shall incorporate limit of contract. (10/14/2020)

  • Is there a performance bond requirement for this contract? if yes, what amount?
    Upon award, the low bidder will be required to provide a contract bond in the amount of the bid on the form provided by the Department, unless otherwise specified in the Special Provisions. (10/14/2020)

  • The contract specifics for item numbers 076,077,078,079,080 have not been posted as of October, 6 2020 The contract was listed on October, 2 2020. When do you plan on listing the spec. for the item number listed above. This gives the company that has swept the state arterial street for many,many, year an advantage over the rest of the sweeping company's.
    Plans and Special Provisions are posted as soon as the documents are available. Each contract is unique and all contract documents should be carefully examined prior to bidding. (10/14/2020)
