Would a site visit be possible to see the existing mixers?

A site visit will not be made available. The contractor should bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications available online. (02/28/2023)
Can you please provide more detailed information of the existing KSB Amamix mixer? Especially thrust value and mast size? Is a gear driven mixer with cast iron motor housing and gear box acceptable? What is purpose of this mixer? Suspending solids in the pumping station. Is the liquid including sand / grit? How much? What is a tank size and water level when mixer starts? Is FM Explosion proof required on the mixers? The spec doesn't say this, Grundfos would prefer non-explosion proof.

The contractor should bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications available online. The answers for the questions can be found starting on page 4 of the special provisions. (02/22/2023)
